Sales Negotiator 

Cumbria Office 

Term: Permanent
Working hours: Full-time
Location: Kendal
Salary range: Competitive

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing Cumbria office as full-time sales negotiator.  Based at our successful village, rural and high-end Agency team in Kendal you will handle all types of enquiries, arrange marketing appraisals and viewings, proactively match applicant and property databases, receive and negotiate offers, report to our surveyors and ensure that our high levels of customer service are maintained.  Attending viewings may also be required from time to time.

Ideally we are looking for someone with previous estate agency experience, although this is not essential for the right candidate.  You must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and be highly organised.  You must also be a strong team player but be self motivated and hold a full UK driving licence.  Salary will be dependent on experience.

Chartered Surveyor – 3 + years PQE

Cumbria Office 

Term: Permanent
Working hours: Full-time
Location: Kendal
Salary range: Competitive

 

You will be able to “hit the ground running” in picking up existing work, as well as assisting with the growth and the development of the team with Kendal and the South Lakes area.

Reporting directly to the Partners, the position will involve all aspects of professional work.  There will be the opportunity to tailor the role to suit an individual’s requirements, based around the following areas of practice:

  • Village, Rural and High End Estate Agency
  • Agricultural Land and Property Management
  • Valuation work
  • Dealing with development sites and opportunities
  • Subsidy and grant claims

The ideal candidate will:

  • have in excess of 3 years PQE
  • have the necessary understanding to provide high quality and professional advice to a variety of client types and aim to exceed clients’ expectations;
  • have the ability to run their own workload and provide support to other team members as required;
  • be able to work independently and be proactive in generating new work and
  • be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and promote the values of Armitstead Barnett both internally and externally.

Chartered/Graduate Surveyor 

North Lancashire Office  

Term: Permanent
Working hours: Full-time
Location: Garstang 
Salary range: Competitive

 

Due to the continued growth of the business we have an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified Rural Surveyor or Rural Graduate from an RICS accredited Course to join us at our Garstang Office. The role will provide an excellent opportunity to get involved with a wide range of rural professional work as we work with a wide range of clients allowing the candidate a chance to develop skills across many areas of expertise including:

  • Valuations
  • Rural Property Sales and Lettings
  • Land and Estate Management
  • Road and Utility Schemes
  • Planning and Development
  • Agribusiness and Subsidies
  • Regular auction Sales of Livestock, Machinery etc

 

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate effectively at all levels, be highly organised and have a methodical working manner, with a high level of attention to detail and importantly have a proactive approach to work, with a strong team ethos.
