My journey with Armitstead Barnett began in September 2021, having approached the Partners with a relatively new concept of an apprenticeship program. After several conversations and fact finding, Armitstead Barnett embraced the idea and I began studying the 5 year Rural Enterprise and Land Management (REALM) Honours Degree, whilst working full time for Armitstead Barnett and attending Harper Adams University for block study weeks.
During my work so far, I have been exposed to a huge variety of jobs with hands on experience whilst being well supported and learning from industry specialists.
The company has and continues to offer many opportunities to increase my knowledge and exposure to new challenges, which has significantly assisted in my studies and will stand me in good stead as I embark on my pathway to APC and CAAV qualifications. Teamwork and camaraderie have a large presence across Armitstead Barnett with a strong work ethic whilst having a laugh along the way.

I joined Armitstead Barnett back in 2019 as a Property Advisor in the Burscough Office and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far. There is a real sense of team effort behind everything we do as well as a strong belief in the core values of ‘Team AB’. I feel that the team here is friendly and approachable.
Working as a Property Advisor for Armitstead Barnett means that there is a wide variety of property and clients that come our way with no two sales being the same.
I thoroughly enjoyed working for Armitstead Barnett, they are supportive of furthering my skills and knowledge and I have recently completed my Level 3 Estate Agency exams.

From graduating at Harper Adams University in Summer 2023, I joined Armitstead Barnett soon after as a Graduate Surveyor. Throughout my role so far, I have been exposed to a large variety of work from assisting with the preparation of valuation reports and tenancy agreements, to marketing both residential and agricultural properties and advising farmers and landowners of the grant funding opportunities available to them. This variation has proved invaluable in enhancing my confidence, knowledge, and experience so early in my career.
The next step in my career is to sit my APC and CAAV examinations to become a chartered rural surveyor and having both APC and CAAV examiners within the firm has proved extremely useful in preparing me for my examinations. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Armitstead Barnett so far, and most importantly enjoy being a part of a great, friendly team.

With a strong background in administration and a dedication to exceptional customer care I started my career with Armitstead Barnett as a Sales Negotiator back in 2018.
Over the years my role has developed into P.A. to our Agency Partner, Hannah Towers. Working within the heart of the agency, my role is dedicated to ensuring our clients consistently receive top-quality service. Working closely with Hannah, I coordinate with the sales team, property photographers, applicants, vendors and solicitors to facilitate the smooth progression of property purchases to their successful conclusion. I am proud to be an integral part of Armitstead Barnett and to work with such an amazing dedicated team.
