The role will involve working with a wide and varied rural client base throughout  Lancashire on a range of matters including but not limited to Valuations for all rural property types and purposes; ; Property Agency to include Sales & Lettings of all rural property types, Planning and Development to include strategic advice on Options and PPA,  Land and Estate Management, Rural/Agri-Business Consultancy,  Renewable Energy, Easements and Compulsory Purchase and other emerging opportunities – as you can see the role has the potential to be very varied and no two days are the same here at AB!.

With a large existing team, there is no need for you to have experience in all the above areas, but awareness, a strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude is key.

• doesn’t accept standing still – ideally the individual will have a keen interest in moving forward with a progressive firm.
• is self-driven and can deliver well thought out advice to clients on a range of matters.
• Can manage a varied workload.
• Can assist the training and growth of others. As a progressive firm we are invested in the younger generations coming through the firm.
• Has a strong ability to network and connect with others in their area of work.
• Can take on an existing and growing workload whilst continuing to strive for further business opportunities.
• Wants to be a part of a strong team culture.
• Is RICS accredited and/or a Member of the CAAV.

The role will involve working with a rural and agricultural client base throughout Cumbria and North Lancashire on a range of matters including but not limited to Valuations for all rural property types; Land and Estate Management; Property Agency – Sales & Lettings of all rural property types, Strategic Rural/Agri-Business; Consultancy to include Environmental Land Management; Planning and Development; Renewable Energy, Compulsory Purchase and other emerging opportunities – the role has the potential to be varied or more specialised for the right candidate.
