The sale has been brought about following Stephen, Ellen and sister Janice’s decision to retire from farming activities. The Burrow family moved to the farm as tenants of the Duchy of Lancaster in 1982, with Stephen succeeding to the tenancy in 2002.
The farm has been primarily a dairy enterprise, with some beef cattle and sheep and has been very much operated in-hand by Stephen, Ellen and Janice.
The machinery comprises a good range of tractors, machinery and equipment., with much of the machinery having been owned since new and serviced regularly by the local mechanic.
