Farm Dispersal Sale – Claytons Farm

The sale has been brought about following George and Sarah Aspinall’s decision to take retirement from farming activities having been tenants on the farm for four generations having farmed at Claytons Farm for some 150 years.  The farm has been operated on an arable and beef basis on an in-hand operation utilising George, Sarah and a faithful farmworker, Peter, who worked on the farm diligently from the age of 14 until his retirement some 50 years later.  There is excellent attention to detail with an excellently maintained yard and a respectful use of tractors and machinery being well-tended by a local mechanic.

The machinery comprises a good range of tractors, machinery and equipment.  Much of the machinery has been owned since new.  All of the items have been stored in covered buildings throughout the winter months with George informing us that one of the older tractors has never been left out overnight.  This is a genuine sale not to be missed by farmers, collectors and dealers alike.
