Sell or find, first?

The age old question, do you sell your house first and then look, or do you find your next home and then sell?  At the minute, unless you don’t need to sell to proceed to purchase, selling first is the only way.  We are seeing property sales being agreed very quickly, some pre marketing too.  A good agent will understand your position, communicate this with the buyer and try to give space to allow you to find your home.  Getting in to the detail from the outset is fundamental here alongside excellent vendor and buyer communication, so that the sellers’ objectives are clear to all throughout the process.

As agents our job is not only to gain the best price within a suitable time period, it is also to meet clients objectives including consideration of their onward move.
