On Saturday 4th June 2016 a few of the girls from Armitstead Barnett took on the 10 mile challenge to raise funds for St Catherine’s Hospice in Preston.

After a quick warm up they joined a group of nearly 1000 men, women and children to walk through Preston town centre on that warm and starry night.

On the way they chatted with lots of different people who shared their personal experiences of St Catherine’s Hospice which spurred them all on to get the finish line.

The Armistead Barnett team finished, still with a slight skip in their step, in the early hours of Sunday morning. They were all very grateful for the hot beverage and bacon roll waiting!

Armitstead Barnett raised over £600.00 that evening and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported and sponsored us.
