Over the last 20 years new build completions have accounted for approximately 10% of of the total number; within the last year this has increased to 11% and is still rising.

27% of all new build completions have been possible with the support of the Help to Buy scheme allowing first time buyers to purchase a property with only a 5% deposit.

The Ribble Valley is set to have one of the highest concentrations of new build sites in the country, increasing by 42%.
