WHAT’S NEW IN 2015?

As we approach February with enthusiasm and optimism for Spring ahead, we take a look at recent exciting changes to our Agency and in the market place.

NEW FACES

We have recently welcomed Mandy Hamlet and Debbie Roper to the Armitstead Barnett sales team.  Both ladies have embraced working in our offices and will provide essential support in the year ahead, ensuring our continued high levels of service in both offices.

EXCITING NEW PROPERTY WEBSITE

This has been a big week for us and for you if you’re looking to buy, sell, rent or let property as it saw the launch of a major new national property website: OnTheMarket.com.  We’re proud to be part of this state-of-the-art website, which is dedicated to presenting properties beautifully, clearly and accurately.  It features a clean, simple search and an elegant design with no distracting advertising and no unnecessary information – just hundreds of thousands of properties looking their best.   We see it as a great innovation for our vendors and landlords and great for property-seekers too. We shall continue to advertise all our properties on righmove.co.uk along with more specialist websites such as uklandandfarms.co.uk, plotfinder.net and our own website abarnett.co.uk

STAMP DUTY CHANGES

Changes in the way that Stamp Duty is calculated were implemented in Autumn.  This should have a positive effect meaning that the market should be able to move more fluidly.  98% of house buyers should save when comparing this to the last Stamp Duty system.  To see how this could affect you click here
