To Market in March

It’s been a great start to 2022 with some excellent offerings to the market, we have seen some outstanding transactions, both in volume and value.

Rightmove analysis reveals that, March is the strongest month of the year to sell a home, having the highest number of buyer enquiries per property for sale on average over the last five years (SSTC).

We certainly notice that, here at Armitstead Barnett, in March 2021 we had some of our highest number of Market Appraisals and viewings across our 4 offices, which subsequently resulted in high sales figures.

As the countdown to this March is continuing to ramp up, just on Rightmove alone:

  • New listings are up 11% in the last three weeks, compared to the same period last year
  • Buyer demand is up 32% over the last three weeks, compared to the same time last year
  • Home-valuation requests to estate agents are up 27% since the start of the year, compared to the start of last year

We are anticipating March 2022 to be no different, all of our offices have a high number of buyers waiting for their next home to come to the market with all buyers knowing that they will face a lot of competition from each other.

Is it time you stopped “thinking about it” and took the plunge? The time to sell is now!

We would love to have a chat with you, line up the presentation of your property and prepare for the busiest time of the year.
