What to do when you are selling a house but don’t live locally. 

We are often asked to carry out marketing advice from people selling a house for a family member, but they do not live local to the property and a question everyone asks is how easy will it be? At Armitstead Barnett we understand that things are not always simple. We feel it is important not only to have a good sales team who can sell the benefits of your property to prospective buyers but also a team with compassion who can go the extra mile for you when you don’t live close by. 2021 was a hectic year for everyone selling a property and living a long way from your estate agent could have made things a whole lot worse, but not if you chose a professional agent.  It might be that you need some initial advice on staging your house for photographs, or to carry out work on the property to get the best price or even which solicitor to use to facilitate the transaction.
