We started the process with Armistead Barnett nearing 2½ years ago. A greenfield site adjacent to a local village. The field was bought in the 90’s as part of a larger farming estate. In recent times, with the demand for housing in the UK at its highest level for a decade we knew it had a fair chance to be considered for planning. The main question being how do you take it from a thought to getting bricks on site?
The experience we received from Armistead Barnett was second to none. When you do not work in the building sector it appears a very complex world of planning, process and regulation. What we had from David and his team was a firm that guided us through every step, and most importantly monthly, weekly and sometimes daily updates on progress made.
Armistead Barnett understand what needs to be done, to get things done. The outcome achieved was circa 70 houses on a 5-acre site – a much needed expansion of a village, with a considered and sustainable supply of housing, and good return on an investment made nearing 20 years ago
